The reason why I created this website is to serve as a guide on how to overcome insomnia and most of the other sleep related problems and to help people to have a better quality of life. Insomnia plays a huge part in our everyday lives and it can also have a detrimental effect on our health.
I hope to cover the important topics regarding insomnia and how to overcome it. I will also do a variety of unbiased reviews on different products that are essential for sleep.
As an ex insomniac I have almost tried everything to get a good night’s sleep and I have first hand experience when it comes to Insomnia and how to overcome it.
The duration for the insomnia was for at least 6 months which classifies it as Chronic Insomnia. I was on sleeping pills for a while and tried many different methods to fall asleep. My work also started to become a painful experience and I almost got fired once.
My personal life started to become very unpleasant as well as you try to schedule it according to your insomnia. For me it felt like I was dragging a dead body with me and it took double the time and effort to get something done.
To go to work each morning knowing that it was going to be a tough day really was not something looking forward to. I felt very hopeless and thought that I am going crazy or that there is something wrong in my brain because I never experienced this before. The more I tried to sleep, the worse it became.
Every time when I looked at the alarm clock realizing that I have only slept for 2 to 3 hours and that I have an important event the next day, my heart started to pound near to my throat and my mind would wonder off to the valley of terror .
I became so frustrated and hopeless that I thought it was over for me.I personally thought that it will never stop and that I must live with it for the rest of my life.
I soon realized that sitting each day hoping for the insomnia to go away on its own is not going to helping me. I really needed to do something about it. I started to search the internet to find a solution on how to get rid of Insomnia.
Through endless days scouring the online world for help trying and failing while going to forums, I came across something that was the beginning of my healing process.
Luckily I found proven methods used in the psychological world that treats all sorts of disorders and little did I know they had one for insomnia. The methods does not work like a magic bullet and it requires allot of work. Soon after I dealt with my insomnia my sleeping improved. After a while I formed new habits and then I suddenly realized that I am free from Insomnia. It was like one of those thunderstruck moments that really surprises you.
My vision for Insomnia Hacker are to reach to all those insomniacs with hope an encouragement and to send a message of truth that can contribute to the well being of everyone. If I can conquer my insomnia, everyone can.
