Sleep Innovations mattress review

Sleep innovations have some of the best mattresses available. In this Sleep Innovations 12-inch sure temp memory foam mattress review I am
going to dig a little bit deeper into this product to give you all the knowledge you need before you think of purchasing this mattress. So without further ado let me start with this review:

Product: Sleep Innovations 12-inch sure temp memory foam mattress

Supplier: Amazon

Manufacturer: Sleep Innovation

Warranty: 20 years

Rating: 8.6/10

Product Description

Memory FoamThe mattress is 12 inches deep with a 2.5-inch memory foam which changes to the weight and form of your body and also helps with temperature regulation. Below the memory foam, there is a 9.5-inch high-density support foam which makes the mattress more stable and also helps with movement.

The memory foam on top also helps allot with airflow and as a result can really help you to cool down at night. This mattress gives great support and reduces the frequency of turning and tossing. Spinal alignment is also provided for a more comfortable position for sleep.

Another awesome thing about this mattress is the form in which it is shipped. It is vacuum packed to make is smaller and compressed for travelling. When you cut the bag open, air will flow into the mattress which will give it its shape.

There are a couple of things which I liked and what I did not like that much. Let me point them out for you:

What I liked

  • It is a thick mattress with temperature-regulating memory foamMemory foam
  • It has a dust mite and allergen resistant foam
  • Gives great spinal alignment
  • You never have to flip the mattress
  • Can put this mattress on the floor in the living room when you have extra guests
  • Great texture with a fluffy feeling
  • There are some nice coupons on amazon that can give you some discount

What I did not like

  • a Problem I noticed with this mattress is that you cannot put it on a base that has slats with open spaces or holes which is big or wide. The reason for this is that the mattress will be pushed through the openings and will lose form and might get damaged. If the spaces are narrow it might work.
  • This mattress does not want a spring base either as it will lose its form. The best advice I can give is to put it on a flat and hard base with no holes or open slates. If you have a bed like this you can put a hardboard on the base.
  • Some people complain that they don’t sink in as deep into the mattress as they would like to and that the mattress is hard. I personally would like the mattress to have a thicker memory foam layer of 3 inches. Another factor that needs to be put into consideration is the weight of the person that will use the mattress. The heavier you are, the more support you will need to sleep comfortable.

 Conclusion

This is a nice mattress and I really think that you can benefit from it. It has some great properties that can really help with a good nights rest and it has some great positive reviews. The only thing that bothered me was that it cannot be placed on any type of base. It is a minor problem because it can be easily resolved by a wooden hardboard. Some people also complain that it is hard, but it really depends on how heavy you are.

Thanks for sharing this article. I have never really slept on a foam mattress before and I am always intrigue; will the foam layer wear out eventually after several years?

    Hi Cathy

I think it might, but luckily it has a 20 year warranty, so I don’t think it wear out pretty soon 🙂
