You have asked what is the best way to get a good night sleep and I am going to tell you how you can accomplish that. Firstly I am going to start with the do’s and don’ts:

The Do’s

  • Do more exercising. a Long jog around the block is good, but a short intense exercise that uses large groups of muscles is even better. The purpose of this is to get your more tired, releases more melatonin and uses up more of that stress hormone Cortisol. In overall it helps with better health
  • Do not break your bedtime routine. This confuses your circadian rhythm and can lead to less sleep.
  • Eat a diet that contains more green. This gives your body more Mg and Ca that helps with melatonin production which is the sleep drug.
  • Get the right mattress for yourself. A Bad mattress can have a very bad influence on your sleep quality.

The Don’ts

  • Stay away from caffeine after 2pm. Caffeine is a stimulant that keeps you awake.
  • Do not do any stressful activities before bedtime. This can really hype yourself up and can totally ruin your sleep.
  • Make sure your room is dark. Light that passes thought the cornea of your eye sends a message to your brain to stay awake.
  • Do not watch at your computer, cellphone or tablet before bedtime. The blue light waves can really hinder your sleep.
  • Make sure your room is the right temperature. If you have to sweat yourself to sleep, then you might want to do something about that.
